Anthea was founded in 1992 by Dr. Vincent Paul, a reputed scientist, who, prior to starting Anthea, had done post-doctoral stints in Columbia and Johns Hopkins, before returning to India to join the erstwhile Hindustan Lever (now Unilever India) Research Centre in Mumbai.
