Antwerp Design Factory

The Antwerp Design Factory is a physical and virtual hub for pre-incubation, design research, and creative collaboration. In concrete terms, it is a design space that is open to students, staff, companies, and public institutions, enabling innovation on products and services in multidisciplinary teams. ADF is platform for knowledge exchange, in a variety of formal and informal frameworks- Where expertise and support can be offered in tackling innovation, product development, and prototyping- Where academic research is conducted to optimize this ecosystem and thus take on a national / European pioneering role- Which hosts state-of-the-art facilities for ideation, prototyping, and validation. Powered by digital facilities (mixed reality, digital fabrication and beyond)- Where collaboration between students, researchers and organisations is nurtured in a future-proof framework- Which establishes a podium to accommodate events surrounding multidisciplinary innovation (masterclasses, seminars, exhibits and so forth).
