Apache Iotdb

Apache IoTDB (Database for Internet of Things) is an IoT native database with high performance for data management and analysis, deployable on the edge and the cloud. Due to its light-weight architecture, high performance and rich feature set together with its deep integration with Apache Hadoop, Spark and Flink, Apache IoTDB can meet the requirements of massive data storage, high-speed data ingestion and complex data analysis in the IoT industrial fields. Apache IoTDB is an optimized DBMS for time series data generated by a network of IoT devices with low computational power. It targets a workload that has high-frequency data write, large-volume data storage, and complex analytical queries. IoTDB supports queries that are common in monitoring and collecting metrics in IoT devices, namely filtering by predicates, query by time range, group aggregation, and data sampling. Data in Apache IoTDB is stored in TsFile, a file format designed for accessing, compressing, and storing time series data. Its storage is organized in LSM-based structure catering to write throughput. Apache IoTDB supports Java, Python, C++, Go and RESTful APIs, as well as a command-line interface. IoTDB also supports MQTT and InfluxDB protocol.
