Apere is a 3D printable product marketplace that protects designers' copyright by printing directly from the cloud and avoiding downloads. Apere was born 7 years ago when his founder was studying industrial design and noticed that once he generated a G-code, it was uploaded to many sites and for free. At that point, he wasn´t looking to generate profit from his designs but figured that if this happened to him while studying, it would be an issue for designers worldwide. By noticing that designers' copyright wasn’t protected and that customers were overpaying for simple designs just because in that way the lack of copyright was justified, is that he started to create a Marketplace in which designers can safely upload their designs avoiding people downloading files and customers are only charged for the print or the number of prints at a more accessible price. Apere allows printing JUST IN TIME, JUST IN PLACE, and with NO need for DOWNLOADS.
