Australia's crowdsourced magazine is all about love.for life, music, art, culture, fashion and most importantly, for writing. Named after one of the first forward thinking and inspirational English, female, professional writers, Aphra Behn, Aphra Magazine is written for the crowd by the crowd. Our open format allows anyone and everyone to contribute. Every issue has its own unique personality and flavour. Our topics are often a little left of centre and you will find yourself learning about anything and everything from the phenomenon of greenwashing to the craze that is Ice Hockey. We try to delve a little deeper into the issues covered in the 24 hour news cycle, whether this is through a feature or opinion piece. We understand that complexity cannot be communicated through a simple soundbite or quote. Aphra is all about combining the old (magazines) with the new (online). Much like a print magazine we release a monthly issue (on the 20th), but unlike print we update our music and arts & culture sections throughout the month, bringing you the latest reviews, interviews and news. If you’re looking for something a little different, a little quirky, something that doesn’t quite fit the current mould, Aphra is your magazine.
