AppCyclers is an innovative waste management startup that utilizes web technology, data analysis, and community sensitization programs to ensure the safe disposal and management of plastic and electronic waste. Our flagship product, Ayat, is an AI-powered marketplace digitizing the collection, sourcing, and purchasing of e-waste by connecting e-waste generators, local recyclers, and off-takers to enable easy and seamless trade. Our mission is to promote a safer and greener environment in Africa. We aim to achieve this by formalizing the e-waste collection process, providing an integrated digital marketplace for sourcing and purchasing recyclable electronic materials, educating local populations, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive responsible e-waste management.
