The Appellate Tax Board is a quasi-judicial agency composed of five commissioners, with a designated chairperson, charged with hearing and deciding cases on appeal from state and local taxing authorities including property tax, individual income tax, corporate excise, sales and use tax, automobile excise, and water bills.
