Appelman Eye Associates

Dr. Appelman grew up in St. Louis and received his degree from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska in 1981. He graduated in 1985 from the University of Missouri with a Doctor of Optometry degree on the Dean’s List with honors and is a member of the St. Louis Optometric Society, the Missouri Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association. He prides himself on providing a very thorough eye evaluation and educating patients on their vision condition. He enjoys managing and preventing all types of vision conditions including dry eyes, ocular allergies, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Dr. Appelman also provides low vision services for the visually impaired, co-manages patients who are interested in laser vision correction, and excels in the prescribing of many types of specialty contact lenses. He has been serving St. Charles County since 1986 when he opened his first office on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
