Applegate, LLC is a San Francisco Bay Area communication consultancy specializing in design, research, writing, and editing. The great majority of our work has been in designing websites and researching how people use websites. Clients include the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Walmart and Sam's Club, Macy's and Bloomingdales, ADT, and HP, Our own initiative is a series of mobile apps, the first of which is "Just-in-Time French Phrasebook." It is the only phrasebook for English-speaking travelers with no time to learn any French. Next in the series will be apps for Italian, German, and Spanish.
