We are not a conventional start-up. And we do not intend to become one. AWT is an umbrella company which makes “smaller bets in areas that might seem a very curious mix of conventional businesses and speculative or even strange ones when compared to others. Though late entrant to the ecosystem (or maybe because of that!), from the very start, we’ve always strived to do more, and punch above our weight. We have always tried to do much more than the limited resources we have. We are a curious mix of conventional IT Services business (BigDrop); have managed to carve out our space in niche Consulting business (OrganIQ); ventured into Start-up world, learnt the hard way the shortcomings and challenges of being an entrepreneur eventually turning towards setting up an institution for the same (IndiaAccelerator), were tired of sitting in different co-working spaces so launched that business of our own (IndiaAccelerator Co-Work) and of course we continue to dabble into the unpredictable and crazy world of start-ups. As exciting as it gets…and the journey only gets better from here! We are still trying to do things other people think are crazy but we are super excited about. Coming back, so what is AWT? AWT is mostly a collection of companies. While it might seem, we are trying to do many things at one time, we strongly believe that our core group of exceptional individuals has allowed us the management scale to run things independently (though they are very related, can & do leverage each other!). As long as we find good leaders & strong ideas, we shall keep on building strong businesses around them. We are all about startups trying to be successful through strong leaders and independence. We are trying our best to prove that the great philosopher Aristotle was correct - “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts!”
