Apropela (formerly Heads Over Heels) supports female entrepreneurs by creating a platform for them to present their business to influential business and community leaders. For over 15 years we have been working towards increasing the representation of women entrepreneurs in Australia. We believe that one of the most important determinants of business success is an entrepreneur’s access to critical business networks, access that women founders are less likely to have for a range of structural reasons. Apropela addresses this imbalance by facilitating the opening up of the networks of our incredible community of Connectors. These Connectors are well-connected members of the business, startup, entrepreneurial and government sectors in Australia. By opening up their networks to the specific individuals and organisations our carefully selected and coached entrepreneurs aim to meet, they meaningfully improve the probability of success for these founders; and help change the statistics for the better.
