Apollo Inffratech Group began his career as a Road Contractor in Mehsana district of Gujarat at a very young age. In the early 70's India, asphalt road construction technology was in a nascent stage. However as a restless young man, he wanted far superior technology in making roads at par with the technology used in developed countries, which can save time, make better quality roads with longer life. Frustration grew on him and his brothers so much so that in a true Gujarati entrepreneurial spirit they decided to make such machines on their own and began with Hotmix Plant and Mechanical Pavers. His fraternity of road contractors was also showing keen interest in this locally made new product. Encouraged by this and coupled with his engineering mind, he along with his brothers started developing series of asphalt equipment such as Drum Mix Plant, Batch Mix Plant, Mechanical Pavers, Wet Mix Plants, Sensor Pavers and Bitumen Sprayers. Word of mouth spread faster than fire. Enquiries began pouring in from neighbouring states and then from every nook & corner of the country. Business grew and took the asphalt equipment market by storm. By the late 80's, Apollo was omnipresent wherever road construction was going on. His vision, entrepreneurial zeal and deep understanding of finances made him make latest technological products at an affordable price with immense quality. This led to repeat orders from the same customers. Making Apollo, India’s No. 1 asphalt road construction company. After serving for 4 consecutive decades, he took a sabbatical from asphalt equipment market. He along with his son Mitul Patel, decided to chart a new path in concrete equipment market.
