Over 30 years since the discovery of aptamer selection method (SELEX) and publications, aptamers have not yet delivered on the promise of alternative affinity reagents to fully realize the power of human proteome in research, diagnostics, and therapeutics. So, we decided to reinvent aptamer generation and expand their usability as alternative affinity reagents to solve the challenges faced in traditional aptamer selections. Aptus Biosciences, is a startup providing aptamer discovery services and products for basic and translational research, biomarker discovery, and diagnostics to enhance the human health.
