Our Philosophy AQ2 is an independent water resources consultancy based in Perth. We provide technical services and applied solutions for groundwater and surface water management. AQ2 was founded in 2013. We wanted to build a business based on the fundamentals of sound professional advice – focus and specialisation, quality and expertise. We wanted to build a business that was satisfying to work with - for our clients, and to work in - for ourselves. We like to think of ourselves as boutique. Our Culture We work with our clients to understand and solve the specific challenges faced by their projects. Our team combines expertise in Hydrogeology, Modelling, Hydrology and Engineering to develop fit-for-purpose solutions – we call this Applied Hydrotechnics. We understand that our client’s requirements are based on: the risks that are acceptable at different stages of a project or operation's life-cycle; design-life risks; and regulatory and economic environments. We always look for value-creation when we develop solutions by focusing on practical outcomes in terms of cost, schedule and the right level of certainty/reliability. Our Company AQ2 has a flexible business model: a small core of key people and a select group of associates with complimentary skills. Our people and associates have expertise and an impeccable pedigree gained from working on projects throughout the world. We believe our business model helps us to be efficient and competitive, and as a small specialist and independent consultancy, we offer our expertise without the cross-selling associated with large multi-disciplinary businesses. We are employee-owned and we all have a stake in meeting our clients’ needs. Our Services Our hydrogeologists, modellers, hydrologists and engineers help our clients with: dewatering; water supply; groundwater and surface water assessment and management; regulatory compliance; and strategic review and due diligence.
