Aqua Sense Ltd

Founded in 2020, Aqua Sense is a Hong Kong based startup with a vision to provide products and services that not only make life more convenient but has a strong social impact and contributes to environmental sustainability. Clean freshwater is an essential part of our life, and unfortunately an ever-diminishing global resource. The average water loss due to leakages considering 48 major cities is 21%. In addition, it is a recurring problem even in modern cities that harmful contaminants can enter the freshwater system causing serious health risks. Our connected sensors are serving as the first line of defense against harmful contamination in drinking water. Enabled by machine learning and cloud computing technologies, we aim to provide a system for smart cities to locate cracks on the pipeline network. Aqua Sense is system based on a compact IoT water quality sensor for residential use, as well as integrated in water purification systems. The devices will provide the data to train and run a machine learning algorithm that locates the point of entry of contamination in the pipeline network. AquaSense is highly scalable and helps to preserve water.
