Aquarela Studio

Aquarela is an independent production company based in Milan, founded by filmmaker Jacopo Marzi, photographer Davide Bertuccio and communicator Niccolò Ferrari. The studio focuses on author-driven films and photographic works, exploring the intersection of photography and cinema through documentary storytelling, visual research, and a distinctive poetic realism. Aquarela has collaborated with leading partners such as National Geographic, Sky, and Canon Italia, and its work has been recognized at major international festivals and industry platforms, including Ji.hlava, Festival dei Popoli, Trento FF, CinemAmbiente, Astra FF, ZagrebDox Pro, Visions du Réel Market, Lift-Off, BDC Discoveries, and IDFA Market, among others.
