Aquasmartech

The AquaSmarTech group is a university group of the international ISE master program "Management and Technology of Water and Waste Water"(MTW³) at the University of Duisburg Essen founded in 2015. Besides organizing events and arranging internships and master theses, the AquaSmarTech group is the direct link between the chair "Mechanical Process Engineering / Water Technology and the MTW³ students. AquaSmarTech will perform the following tasks in the future- Organization of excursions and advanced trainings, which are not offered in the course of studies - Organization of lectures, workshops and practical projects - Regulars' tables - Establishing contact with the professional world - Improve online activity - University group meeting - Cooperation with DVGW and other university groups AquaSmarTech has programmed an app for smartphones that is available for free in the "play store". With this app, students can get information about programs and relevant news from the water and wastewater sector directly and free of charge. Furthermore the overall goal is to create and strengthen a network between students, alumni and companies in the water industry.
