Based in Michigan, Aquila Equity Partners is a private investment firm with deep entrepreneurial roots and a focus on partnering with families, business owners and management teams. We work with our partners to help take companies to new levels of success by building upon the organization’s foundation, concentrating on prudent growth, investing in human capital, processes and systems and enhancing sustainable competitive differentiation. We look to partner with leaders who share our values and vision for growth. We target lower middle market companies typically generating less than $10mm in EBITDA and which operate in the business services, consumer / retail, healthcare and value-added distribution industries. We prefer investing in majority ownership and shared control transactions, but are also open to minority participation in select situations. We don’t operate with the constraints and strategy of a typical private equity fund. Rather, we partner with small group of companies so that we can dedicate significant energy and resources to each partnership. Our flexible investment holding periods allow us to customize our approach to each situation.
