The Group’s shipowning and shipmanagement activities are based in Werkendam, The Netherlands. ARA Shipmanagement B.V. takes care of the daily management of her own, privately owned short sea fleet, a modern fleet of multi-purpose and container vessels which are deployed world-wide. All Sale and Purchase activities of the ARA Group are handled by ARA Ship Brokers Hamburg GmbH based in Hamburg Germany. Besides acting as the in-house broker on behalf of ARA Ship Management, ARA Shipbrokers GmbH. is very active on the competitive Sale and Purchase market as well.
