At Aranda\Lasch, we bring form and substance to the immaterial. Through the creation of objects and environments, our studio is dedicated to the highest level of craft in both material and digital languages. Our wide-ranging work, from generative software to physical architecture, reflects a critical engagement with making in an age of algorithmic tools by invoking long-standing histories, cultural traditions, and material responsibility to our projects. The resulting body of work reveals a deep investigation of contemporary culture, its material possibilities, and the algorithmic logic that underpins it. Located in New York and Tucson, our studio is led by Benjamin Aranda, Joaquin Bonifaz, and Chris Lasch. Our work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago, among others. We have exhibited internationally across wide-ranging institutions, and we are represented by Volume Gallery. Recognitions include the United States Artists Award, the Architecture League Emerging Voices Award, and the Graham Foundation.
