Arani Ecosteps

Arani Ecosteps was born in December 2019 as an awareness page focused on plastic pollution. 300 million tons of plastic gets produced every year, with a large chunk ending up in our oceans and landfills given low recycling rates (early teens, globally). We are facing a crisis and large scale consumer involvement is critical to change the assumptions behind packaging products - which accounts for nearly 50% of plastic consumption. With this in mind, in 2020, we built a basket of affordable, daily-use, plastic-free products. A key driving principle is the creation of dry forms for traditionally liquid products. This solves two problems: 1) Reduces the logistics costs of transporting water; consumers can add water at home and re-use existing bottles 2) Allows for packaging without plastic (it is REALLY difficult to package liquids without plastic) We urge you to join our mission; let's work together for a better world :)
