Arbon Publishing originated in 2008 as an independent publishing house and grew from the passions of its Founder and managing director, Fritz Gubler. The company commenced simultaneously with the release of its first book, Great, Grand & Famous Hotels. This book was developed from Fritz’s 20 years as a leading hotel professional and reflects his passion for the industry.In 2010, the name was changed to Arbon, after a small Swiss town on the shores of Lake Constance and in honour of the Swiss Heritage of Fritz Gubler and his wife Eliza. The name Great, Grand & Famous, however, still lives on through the Great, Grand & Famous series.
