ARC Consultants is a multi-disciplinary consultancy working in the areas of environment, design and development. The practice was founded in the 1970s when, under the name of W.H. Hastings, B.Arch, F.R.I.A.I, R.I.A.I. Conservation Architect (Grade 1), it worked in the areas of architectural design, conservation, graphic design and photography. The practice became incorporated as ARC in the early 1990s and changed its name to ARC Consultants when Amy Hastings, B.C.L, Barrister-at-Law, MSc.(Spatial Planning), MIPI, joined the practice in 2003.
