Arc - Atlantic Rim Collaboratory

The Atlantic Rim Collaboratory (ARC) is a global alliance of education systems committed to advancing broad excellence, equity, inclusion, wellbeing, democracy and human rights within publicly valued and professionally led education. ARC brings together system leaders, policymakers, researchers, unions and practitioners to learn with not just from one another. Rather than benchmarking or competing, ARC members engage in deep professional dialogue, share policy approaches, visit schools in one another’s countries, and reflect openly on challenges and opportunities in education today. It is a space built on trust, respect and collective purpose. Participating Systems (2025) ARC currently includes education systems from: • Ireland • Northern Ireland • Scotland • Wales • Uruguay • New Brunswick (Canada) • Iceland Through ARC, these systems explore questions of leadership, curriculum, assessment, equity, teacher professionalism and the wellbeing of children and young people, all with the aim of strengthening education through shared learning.
