Arc-Net Applied Research Capability Network

ARC-Net is an applied Physical AI research foundry focused on helping startups and enterprises move from ideas to real-world intelligent systems. Based out of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and supported by the ARTPARK ecosystem, ARC-Net works at the boundary where intelligence meets physical constraints, factories, energy systems, medical devices, and climate infrastructure. Our work goes beyond model development. We conduct foundational, first-principles research to design causal system architectures, digital twins, and decision-making frameworks that remain reliable when deployed in the real world. This research is translated into methods, system designs, and prototypes that partners can license or build upon. In our first year, ARC-Net delivered six deep-tech projects across manufacturing, energy, and verification-heavy domains, working closely with industry teams to navigate uncertainty, safety, cost, and scale. ARC-Net exists to solve the hardest part of innovation: making intelligence work outside the lab.
