Archaeological Services WYAS offers a professional and competitive archaeology service throughout the United Kingdom. Our main focus is geophysics and excavation. Over the last 30 years we have built up an excellent track record of supplying high quality, cost effective archaeological solutions to clients across all sectors. Our work with clients aims to address any archaeological requirements quickly and efficiently, minimising the impact and cost of any archaeological intervention. We own a range of high quality, specialist equipment including a five channel cart-based magnetometer system – the Sensys Magneto® MXPDA. We welcome the opportunity to work with new and established clients - helping to fulfil heritage obligations at both pre-planning and mitigation phases of development, and ensuring Britain’s archaeological heritage is recorded and documented for the wider community and future generations. Substantial local experience gives us a particular advantage in assessing heritage requirements within the regional planning authorities. We are part of West Yorkshire Joint Services – an organisation which delivers a unique mix of services to local government, other public sector organisations and commercial customers - nationally and internationally.
