The hardwood collection is comprised of antique, classic, modern planking and parquet, border accents and mahogany flooring that can be customized to your needs. We offer a wide range of wood flooring choices ranging in species, style, color and size. We are also involved in the production of other wooden crafts such as furniture, walls, panels, as well as services involving refurbishment, renovation, and restoration. Archetypal meticulously focuses on artistic/aesthetic design, long-lasting durability, and sustainable/environmentally-friendly products. We navigate our client through the creative process, bringing imagination to fruition. No matter how aesthetically intricate or challenging, the project will be accomplished by our team of renowned consultants, comprised of designers, highly skilled master craftsmen, inspectors, and sales professionals. We use natural vegetable-based oil finishes that are slip-resistant, free of polyurethanes and protective against wear/moisture, allowing our products to maintain natural structure/appearence. In addition, Archetypal greatly utilizes reclaimed wood, one of the most sustainable materials in the field. Rather than using heavy-duty machinery, Archetypal relies on the teamwork of talented craftsmen, which greatly reduces its carbon emissions, a prevelant problem in the industry. Our products are available in wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as sustainably/responsibly sourced. Archetypal was founded in 1992 by Avedis Duvenjian, a NWFA-certified Master Craftsman. Over the years, we have worked with notable names (Donald Trump, Arizona Beverage Company, ABC Carpet & Home) and have won the NWFA Wood Floor of the Year Award for the last six years.
