Archimera

Archimera is a non-governmental organisation, that supports architecture students and young architects by creating a platform for their work and presentation. Founded by students of architecture on Academy of Fine arts & design, Bratislava in 2007, it gathers young motivated people to run projects in architectural and cultural field. The name Archimera comes from a conjunction of word Architecture and Chimera (ancient Greek mythological creature with one body having heads of a lion, a goat and a serpent). It represents idea that architecture has various forms that can coexist on one platform. Archimera aims to develop and support the architectural scene and approach architecture to public by organizing expositions and events, to crate and enhance networks by entering interdisciplinary projects and by support mobility and exchanges.
