Archival Studies

Archival Studies was established in 2018 and is a Copenhagen-based design studio focused on adaptive architecture and the spaces it shapes. We operate from a hybrid studio and workshop, allowing us to prototype and fabricate in-house, with the ambition of pushing the boundaries of conventional building standards. At Archival, we design not only spaces but also furniture, lighting solutions, and structural systems, all with a strong focus on modularity and adaptability. Our commercial projects range from large-scale consultancy to smaller-scale design-build work. Regardless of scale, every project is approached holistically, from detail to social context, with long-term care, reuse, and repurposing at the forefront of our practice.
