Arcona was founded in 1985 with the idea of challenging the traditional way of building and creating higher customer values by having a LEAN working method and solving tasks together. We always work in close collaboration with the customer and with the overall purpose of understanding and developing the customer's business. Arcona designs, carries out construction work and develops properties on its own, in particular in Stockholm and Uppsala. We create the environments of the future for all people with a responsible construction that provides a sustainable interaction between man and the environment. We develop and build, among other things, in the following product areas: offices, hotels, logistics, commerce, healthcare facilities, schools and sports facilities. Arcona Lean Construction carries out construction works in close collaboration with the builders, tenants and suppliers. The Lean Construction method ensures efficiency and quality. With early collaboration and long-term relationships, we develop specialized knowledge and teamwork that together create properties with maximum customer value. Arcona Project Development works with property development and refinement of properties. We help property owners increase the value of their properties by identifying potentials and implementing development projects. We have solutions for the early acquisition phase as well as for existing properties. We also carry out projects on our own or with partners. Arcona Architects creates the environments of the future with high participation throughout the process from investigation to finished building. BSK Arkitekter and Exengo Installationskonsult are included as strategic competencies in the Group. Since the beginning of 2014, Arcona is part of the Veidekke Group.
