ArcTract produces savory fish extracts from fish caught in a sustainable manner in the prime arctic waters. The extracts can be used to enhance and improve fish taste in fish-dishes and soups. The company sells its products both in consumer packaging and in bulk packaging for producers of prepared foods and produce. ArcTract is based in the town of Isafjordur in Iceland and enjoys a close partnership with the company Klofningur ehf- one of the largest exporters of stock-fish in Northern Europe. Other partners include Hradfrystihusid-Gunnvor hf, the AVS Marine Development Fund and the Marine Municipality Development Fund. The name ArcTract is derived from the words arctic and extract.
