Advanced Research and Development (ARD Corp.) develops and manufactures products for people with physical disabilities. Our mission is to develop innovative solutions that apply mainstream and therefore cost-effective technologies and manufacturing methods to deliver products that are affordable but yet possess innovative features and functionality to a population that remains tremendously underserved. Our engineering team brings together a broad range of expertise and experience ranging from optics and speech technology to mobile computing and wireless communications and has developed groundbreaking products that define the state-of-the-art in features, functionality, convenience and cost. Our current interests include research into and development of products that can provide greater independence to the blind and visually impaired.
