Ardent Credit Union

Sb1 Federal Credit Union was originally founded in 1977 by employees of the SmithKline Corporation. Unsatisfied with the banking services available to them at the time, our founders chartered a new kind of institution with the goal of finding a better way to serve their own needs and the needs of their coworkers. Over the past three decades Sb1 Federal Credit Union has evolved into a full-service, member-oriented financial institution. Sb1 has partnered with over one hundred companies across the country to provide them a no cost employee benefit as well as serving anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Philadelphia, south of Lehigh Avenue.
