Areaaa Luxembourg

The Association réunissante pour l'éducation alternative de l'art et de l'artisanat Luxembourg) was created in early 2022 as a non-profit organisation with its focus on alternative forms of education, especially through any form of art or artisanary. As the name suggests, the objective of the is to reunite people interested in learning about any form of art or craft technique and thus create a place of meeting for an exchange on the different fields of artisanal work in an non-formal educational setting. Apart from national projects, the aim is to organize or participate in international projects in order to promote the education that such a project entails and to cultivate intercultural exchange, solidarity and foster learning opportunities between the participants. Besides young people, who are willing to develop their knowledge and skills, Luxembourg also targets experienced people and professionals from different domains, who like to share their knowledge through dedicated workshops in the scope of projects organised by the NGO. The core idea is that every member can provide useful skills and knowledge that he or she has accumulated through their education, hobby or other workshops and that he or she can pass on to others through the platform is providing.
