ARIEL Photonics Assembly Ltd (ARIEL) was founded in 2007 to utilize a unique laser technology into new products that will define the future battlefield. Since then ARIEL has developed and produced a series of novel laser systems that protects Israel from terrorists’ land and aerial attacks. ARIEL is engaged with almost all the Israeli major defense integrators, and our unique laser technology is protected by 2 granted patents and few patent applications in many states around the world. ARIEL is ISO9001 certified laser company, approved supplier to RAFAEL, ELBIT, ELISRA, ELTA, IMI and IMOD. ARIEL developed a unique laser CLOUD that deflects anti-tank guided missiles. It protects tanks, posts and ships. The module was tested in Israel and USA with 100% success. ARIEL has developed and produced 10 other unique laser products for defense including laser countermeasures, laser illuminators and laser threat simulators for terrestrial and avionic applications. ARIEL has developed and started selling in 2014 high end industrial fiber lasers. ARIEL performed an order to manufacture first lot of 30 fiber lasers for Japan industrial laser printers. In the year 2016 ARIEL (as a subcontractor of Elbit Systems Land and C4I) won a classified tender of IMOD and received an order to manufacture and supply $7M of ARIEL products. In 2011, 10% of ARIEL were bought by ELBIT Systems Land for $2.7M, and in 2025, 15% were bought by Kohoku Kogyo for $4.5M. Sales were $0.5M in 2015,$2.0M in 2017 and $2.5M in 2018-2024. The company employs 15 people. Roadmap of ARIEL includes Laser Kill Anti UAV protection system against terrorist’s attacks with drones. ARIEL successfully demonstrated protection from quadcopters in outdoor long range tests. The system includes high power military multi kilowatt fiber laser that ARIEL develops and manufactures for this application. We also plan to complete development and manufacturing of a watts industrial laser for 3D laser metal printers.
