Arise&win Project
The ARISE & WIN Project is a 2-year project that aims to understand the gendered impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and other disruptive life events on the physical, mental, and social well-being of self-employed young women in Nigeria; their strategies for coping with such events, and how these compare with those of self-employed men. The findings from this research will inform the co-production of a gender-transformative intervention that integrates social protection and promotes well-being. The project is run by researchers at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and the Douglas Hospital Research Centre, Canada.
