Ark Support Coordination

Ark is built on solid foundations of social work, acknowledging systemic barriers and marginalisation when understanding the needs of individuals with a disability. Working alongside NDIS participants as Support and Specialist Support Coordinators since 2019, our team draws on their cross-disciplinary experience to support those with complex support needs. We assist clients interfacing with the justice system, hospital discharges, child protection, dual diagnoses, palliative care, and experiencing homelessness. As Support Coordinators, we noticed a gap in services for Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities or FASD. Developing our social worker conducted FCA: Psychosocial to provide the NDIS with a detailed, holistic report on how a person's psychosocial disability impacts their daily life.
