We are an early stage technology venture capital firm. We partner with founders seeking to invent new market categories or transform large, existing industries. Our sweet spot is internet, mobile and software startups. We invest only if a company has the potential to be a very large, valuable, global business. We chase after outliers. We care more about the magnitude of the return if things work, and worry less about minimizing the risk in the early days. We prefer to be the first venture investor and we follow our investments, aiming to be shareholders for seven to ten years. We invest as little as to seed a company and as much as to lead a round. We like taking risks on brilliant people and products. We prefer to work with founders who are either technical or domain experts in their industry. We don’t mind young or first-time founders. We’re not bankers and we’re not consultants. Our partnership is made up entirely of computer scientists and founders who have built and grown technology companies. We’ve worked at some of the most prominent tech companies. Together, we have over 14 years of experience in our industry. We believe if you can’t invent the future, the next best thing is to fund it.
