Arma Texas Tech University Chapter

ARMA is a professional and international engineering and scientific society that promotes interaction among rock mechanics and geomechanics specialists, practitioners and academics alike. A strong student membership ensures future continuity. ARMA advocates for firms and individuals in all aspects of rock mechanics, rock engineering, and geomechanics. ARMA provides a communications link, a forum, and an information resource for members, related organizations, and the public. The Texas Tech University Chapter was founded in 2015. The chapter organizes technical presentations, field trips, seminars and collaborates with other students' organization in carrying out various activities from community service events, training courses and attending conferences. These activities are geared towards the development of our members. Our parent body hosts annual conferences which we attend.
