Armadillo Records

Armadillo Records is an Austin, Texas based record label founded in 1969 by music enthusiasts that were influential in the movement that resulted in Austin becoming the live music capitol of the world. The precursor to the Armadillo World Headquarters, Armadillo Records laid dormant for almost 40 years until a new group of music enthusiasts were able to acquire and resurrect this incredibly important and iconic brand founded upon and in Austin's music history. Under fresh leadership, Armadillo Records will pioneer, produce, and champion music initiatives, embodying Austin's magnetic fusion of music and entrepreneurship.
