Arqbag

Arqbag is a young architectural firm that began its activity in 2013, and was formalized as a non-profit cooperative in 2017. From the beginning we have maintained a strong link with the university (ETSAV - UPC), establishing our workspace on the same campus we were trained. We are an architectural cooperative that promotes new relationship models between people, habitability and the territory. We understand architecture as the cross-cutting management of energetic, environmental, economic and social resources. We emphasize and value the process and not just the result. We apply a scientific method of work in all the kinds of projects we develop. The purpose of this methodology is to detect indicators, collect data, generate content, parameterize and socialize the objectives, in order to propose strategies based on an objective, transversal and collective vision. We understand sustainability from an affordable and accessible standpoint. We are committed to bringing together, participating in, sharing knowledge and empowering users, building tools for decision-making and collective learning.
