The Arrhenius photobioreactors optimize microalgae growth, maximizing biomass production with high efficiency at low capital expenditure (CAPEX). The CO₂ absorbed during this process is permanently removed from the atmosphere when the dried biomass is stored long-term, achieving a "Negative Emissions Technology"(NET). Alternatively, if biomass is used as a raw material for the bioeconomy, such as alternative animal feed (protein source), bioplastics or colorants, high CO₂ footprint materials can be replaced, improving the carbon balance and promoting the bioeconomy.
