Arrowpoint Capital acquired the US insurance operation of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group plc in 2007 and does not underwrite any new business. Business is primarily conducted through one risk-bearing company, Arrowood Indemnity Company. Arrowood began its transition to a run-off organization in 2003. As of November 8, 2023, Arrowood has been placed into liquidation by Order of the Chancery Court of Delaware. Pursuant to the Liquidation and Injunction Order, Delaware Department of Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro serves as the Receiver.
