Art For Redemption

Art for Redemption is an e-commerce platform that allows incarcerated artists to sell their art. The company is the first true vendor to legally contract on behalf of inmates in CO, providing participating inmates the ability to earn money to pay child support, victim restitution and other societal debts. Founded in 2019 by U.S. veteran, social entrepreneur and former inmate, Buck Adams, Art for Redemption was created through collaboration with Defy Colorado, a nonprofit organization preparing currently incarcerated individuals for successful careers upon release through both traditional career paths and entrepreneurship. Defy Colorado’s network of support empowered Adams with the resources to launch Art for Redemption, an Etsy-like platform that enables inmates to share their creations and contributing to society.
