Art Point Performing Arts Centre

ART POINT is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts—particularly the performing arts—across Central Switzerland, with its headquarters in Lachen SZ. Through the ART POINT Talent School of Performing Arts, we identify and nurture young talents in dance and theatre from the region. We support them with scholarships, professional training, and preparatory programs that lay the foundation for formal arts education. Our goal is to guide and position these young artists for admission to specialized secondary schools for dance, Gymnasium programs with an arts focus, and higher institutions of arts education. Beyond talent development, ART POINT actively fosters cultural engagement within the wider community. We organize festivals, concerts, and school outreach programs that make the arts accessible to diverse audiences. By creating meaningful artistic experiences, we aim to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lasting appreciation for the positive impact of the arts. We also produce dance and theatre performances in collaboration with partner organizations, strengthening the regional cultural network and encouraging artistic exchange. A distinctive pillar of our work is research at the intersection of arts and neuroscience through our Neuro-Dance Lab. We explore evidence-based methods that integrate performing arts with neuroscience to support cognitive development ART POINT operates as a fully structured cultural projects organization, encompassing: Human Resources, including payroll IT infrastructure and digital systems Marketing and social media strategy Business development and partnerships Event management and sponsorship acquisition Administration and legal compliance Through this comprehensive framework, ART POINT combines artistic vision with professional management to ensure sustainable cultural impact in the region.
