Artefact Architecture Models

Founded in 1985 by Rod Marawi, ARTEFACT is an architectural model making and restoration workshop. With more than 3800 models, we respond to commissions from world-class architects and project owners all over the world. With a focus on quality and respect for constraints, our professional model makers produce architectural projects for town planning, relief plans, museography, competitions, etc, with precision and speed, in close collaboration with the architects and teams in charge of each project. Our mastery of traditional and artisanal techniques, combined with optimal use of state-of-the-art 3D modelling and modelling software, enables us to produce pieces of unprecedented precision and finish quality. We have executed models of contemporary and historic architectural projects with exceptional precision and in record time, such as the model of the Parthenon for the Greek Antiquities Department at the Louvre Museum, or the model of the Bourse de Commerce in Paris for the Pinault Foundation. We have also contributed to major urban projects, such as the redevelopment of the Halles district in Paris and in Grand Paris or the Olympic Village for the 2024 Olympic Games.
