Human Stem Cells Institute (HSCI) is a Russian public biotech company founded in 2003. HSCI is engaged in drug discovery, R&D and marketing of innovative proprietary products and services in the field of advanced biomedical technologies, including such segments as: • Gene therapy (gene therapy drugs, gene-activated matrices) • Regenerative medicine (cell-based services, tissue engineering products) • Medical genetics, including reproductive genetics (lab & clinics /genetic testing and counselling) • Bio-insurance • Biopharmaceutics (within the international SуnBio project) Nowadays the Institute is an international biotechnologic company, having laboratories and offices in Moscow, Saint Petersburg (Russia), Ukraine, and Germany. The Institute is modern processing laboratories and storage for cellular materials as well as research laboratories such as the Laboratory of Stem Cell Technologies in Moscow and the biotechnological laboratory of the SymbioTec Co. in Saarbrücken (Germany). The Institute also is the main publisher of the scientific journal “Cellular Transplantation and Tissue Engineering”
