Conyers Gunsmiths and Angling Supplies of Blandford Forum in Dorset, was established around 1886, and was bought by Justin J Frampton in 2004 from Bob Stagg and Cyril Gordon. It started off selling, refuelling and fixing cars, which quickly became a gunsmiths and shop supplying the country scene for many generations with shotguns, rifles and angling supplies and country clothing. Conyers is the oldest shop in town, with modern stock and old fashioned customer service, supporting and serving the local community; we look forward to welcoming you all. You can find a range of new and second shot/air guns and pistols as well as cartridges and country clothing and all additional shooting equipment, as well as knives and wellies, and new and second-hand fishing rods and reels in the shop, as well as terminal tackle for Sea, Coarse and Game fishing including live bait, and we also offer rod repairs from eyes to broken sections. We are always in the markets for any guns or fishing tackle you might want to sell. The shop supports Blandford Fishing Club which has beats of water either side of Blandford running up stream to Durweston and downstream to Charlton Marshall. On these water’s a good head of coarse fish can be caught and there are some large pike to be had in the winter months. We hold a range of baits including boilies, maggots, worms and ground baits. Frozen baits are also available for sea fishing and dead baiting. Here at the shop you can purchase your day and season river tickets for Blandford, Sturminster Newton.
