Arthur Roger Galllery

The Arthur Roger Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery located in New Orleans’ historic Warehouse District. Founded in 1978, it originally opened in the city’s Garden District and attracted a number of New Orleans’ most prominent artists. In 1988, the Arthur Roger Gallery moved to its current location, a carefully planned 5,100 square foot space designed by architect Wellington Reiter, and was described as “establishing a world class standard of excellence for new art galleries in New Orleans.” In November 2008, Arthur Roger@434 was opened as a new additional gallery adjacent to 432 Julia. The gallery maintains a balance between artists from New Orleans and artists of national repute, and is strongly committed to continuing to play a key role in the cultural vitalization of one of America's greatest cities.
