Artisans Thrive

Female economic empowerment is a catalyst for sustainable community development and reduced poverty. Artisans Thrive is a social enterprise working with grassroots women’s artisan groups who are too small to be served by the mainstream fair trade movement. We work with these female artisans, accelerating avenues for income, skills training, and dignity. We partner with 60+ organizations worldwide, developing them across the value chain in designing, making, marketing, and distributing fashion-forward products. Roughly 70% of the sales price is returned to the artisans in wages and training, who in turn use this income to provide for themselves and their families, breaking the cycle of poverty.
